Model Horses

Welcome to the model horse section of our website.  We currently have a collection of well over 100 models including some very nice resin pieces.  We are currently trying to downsize our herd to only Arabians, Miniature horses and a few of our favorites.  So needless to say, we have many offered for sale (see list below), though we can often be tempted by trades for Arabian models, especially resins!  Feel free to email us for pics or info. on any model.

We also offer customized models for sale and currently have a few slots open for customizing jobs (see price list below).  My work has NAN qualified multiple times in the past and I have many returning customers.  I currently only use acrylics though I have gotten many comments from judges and others on how much they look like they were done in oils.  My work is very smooth with rich colors and great blending.  I will only do limited prep work and will not accept any models that are mutilated, ie. needing multiple days of prep work.  I also have a huge list of bodies (primarily Breyer plastic) available if you do not have one, just give me an email and let me know what you are looking for or I can send you a complete list.

Also, check out my Current Projects section below for up and coming models!!

Current Projects:

These 2 boys are CM PS QH Pebbles models.  This first pic is of the original bodies.

The first one has been repositioned into a fabulous hunter prospect.  He has a newly sculpted braided mane and tail and his left front leg repositioned with newly sculpted shoulder and upper leg muscles.  He also had an ear tip repaired.   He is planned to be painted as a liver chestnut frame overo, he should be a real show stopper when finished.

The second one has been repositioned into a dressage/eventing prospect, or just a great English division performance horse.  He has a newly sculpted neck and his right hind leg repositioned to place him into a more collected canter.  He has a new sculpted flowing mane and tail.  He has also had correct stallion parts added.  He is planned to be painted as a mahogany bay with lots of chrome trim.
